During Hispanic Heritage night, students, teachers, and families get together and celebrate Hispanic culture. There are crafts to make and various food to eat, such as tamales and salsa. We even have traditional Mexican dancers and music.
During the African Drum Circle, we get together to listen to various songs from different regions of Africa, all to the beat of drums.

Día de los Muertos is a Mexican tradition where families remember their loved ones who have passed away. It's a joyful celebration with colorful sugar skill decorations, music, and amazing Mexican food.
When it gets really hot, we hear the sound of the ice cream truck coming down the block. We run to get some money out of the piggy bank to get an ice cream, and then chat with our friends and neighbors.
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we attend a parade and listen to speeches to remember his positive contributions. We then use the rest of the day as a day of service to help others less fortunate than us, just how Dr. King would have wanted.
Your character must perform in the school's Spring musical. This includes a show done in front of all the students during the day and another in front of parents and families in the evening. Oh, and your character is in the LEAD role!
