The CPSU commitment Our commitment to you was to achieve better pay and conditions of employment – this has been achieved. Our commitment to you was to build the power of your union at the UTS– this has been achieved. Our commitment to you was to ensure that support staff are respected as the backbone of the University – this has been achieved. But there is always more work to be done. The power of your union and the power of support staff to ensure your rights are protected relies on the collective and direct participation of all CPSU members and potential members at UTS.

That is why we will continue to: 

Agitate for the recognition and respect for support staff

Educate members about your rights at work

Organise support staff to be empowered as workers and as union members to take responsibility and action to improve their pay and conditions.

UTS support staff understand the benefits of joining the CPSU The CPSU listens to members and we pursue the issues that really matter to support staff at UTS. That is why CPSU membership at the UTS has grown significantly over the last three months.

Why don’t you ask a colleague to join the CPSU today? It’s good for you and even better for them. Authorised by John Cahill, State Branch Secretary, CPSU (SPSF Group), 160 Clarence Street Sydney 2000
