Logistics
The FAB is the only Freeport in the Manila Bay area, which is the country’s center of trade. It is also within the vicinity of 2 Freeports in Region III.
Energy
The FAB has the potential for tapping other sources of renewable energy in the FAB such as hydroelectric power, biomass and sola energy application. It currently hosts GN Power, a 600-megawatt coal-fired power facility that provides the cheapest power rate in the country.
Tourism
The FAB is rich in natural resources as Mariveles possesses virgin forests, clean beaches, mountain ranges and flat lands suitable for ecotourism projects.
