She’s here again My one true friend. She swings the dark cape behind her Bringing in the night A halo of white A suit of silver She stands guardStronger than a quiver, Of fear you feel in the dark
Oh beautiful knight She cares for the earth in twilight So gentle The graceful sway Of stars that dance the night away The moon watches them dance around The love of stars only burns But the warmth is worth it in the end
Don’t go away!! Please don’t leave me here dear friend Just to come back the next day, You look worse for wear Were you fighting the dark? Have they won once more Become whole again and show me your light in the dark
The night trudges on I stumble without a light I feel my flame dimming now The dark taking hold Of the place I once called home Lo! She rises! Come back to save me! The pools of light surround me Dark burning and hissing back
She’s come into her power A new beginning at last
