Ways to prepare your family and your home for fire season KATE ARTMANN STAFF

NORTH VALLEY – According to the U.S. News, there have been over 800 fires in Arizona this year. In order to be prepared for a fire emergency, people should understand the fire evacuation process and take the necessary precautions. The Yavapai County Sheriff ’s Office uses the “Ready-Set-Go” system to define evacuation levels. To be ready for wildland fire season, people should create a defensible space on their property, make a plan, and build an emergency kit. If there
