ANTHEM – Further details have been ironed out regarding a proposed agreement between EPCOR and the Anthem Community Council for a water hauling station to be built on ACC-held land. The matter was discussed at the Oct. 25 ACC Board of Directors meeting; no motions were made on this issue at the meeting, but an agreement may be reached by the Nov. 15 ACC Board meeting. The water hauling station would serve local residents who have inadequate water supplies on their property. The station would be available for use by

water hauling companies and likely private customers as well, provided they meet the station’s requirements. The proposed cost for water from the hauling station is just under $10 per 1,000 gallons. Jenna Kohl, Anthem Community Council CEO, updated the Board at the Oct. 25 meeting regarding the agreement. “This has really been a group effort,” Kohl said, thanking all those who have been working together to expedite the project.
