IMPACT REPORT The First Tee of Central Arkansas

“First Tee has gone over and beyond to adjust their instruction to meet the needs of my special needs students. Coach Brad knows our students by name and even helps us adapt the activity so our wheelchair students can participate. They are learning sportsmanship and other important

social skills through the program. Our kids have grown verbally through the program by learning how to praise their partners as we are playing golf.”

Our Mission To impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill lifeenhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

What We Do The First Tee was created to introduce young people from all walks of life to the fun and excitement of golf. Through golf, participants learn personal and social skills such as respect for rules and other players, integrity and sportsmanship, as well as the value of selfreliance, self-control and the ability to set goals and work persistently to realize them. The Life Skills Experience ultimately strives to instill in participants the Nine Core Values of The First Tee: Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Courtesy, Judgment, Confidence, Responsibility and Perseverance.
