PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Early Day at Fay is our mixed-age early morning care program, allowing Fay students to arrive on campus early. Early Day at Fay is designed to allow for flexibility in your family’s morning routine. Students will be given a light snack in the dining hall and the opportunity to play in the gym, read books, and catch up on homework. 2018 – 2019 EARLY DAY AT FAY SAMPLE SCHEDULE 7:00 – 7:20am
Parent drop-off at Elementary benches.
7:15 – 7:25am
Light snack in the Fertitta Dining Hall.
7:30 – 7:45am
All grades in MFE MPR (games, homework, books, etc.).
7:45am
First through Fifth grade escorted by teachers to begin their school day.

Primary I, Primary II and Kindergarten remain in MFE MPR (hula hoops, games, books).

GENERAL REMINDERS Early Day at Fay registration is held online through the Extended Day Registration Module which can be accessed through My Portal at www.thefayschool.org/my-portal.
EARLY DAY AT FAY DROP-OFF PROCEDURES - Parents drop off at elementary benches - Teachers open doors - Students are checked in by a teacher at Fertitta Dining Hall - When pulling up to elementary benches, please make sure to pull up to the yellow pole, closest to the Fay House
Registration Fee: 2018 Fall Semester A $25 registration fee will be applied to registrations occurring for the fall semester after September 28. This fee will be waived between September 18 and September 28.
If you wish to change your schedule: 2018 Fall Semester Please contact the Extended Day office in order to cancel any Early Day at Fay times for which you have already submitted registration. One or more Early Day at Fay registrations can be cancelled for a full refund less a single $50 fee (each time one or more registrations are dropped) through October 22, 2018. After this date, all registration fees for Early Day at Fay are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please see below for the range of costs for Early Day at Fay for the 2018-2019 school year. Registration for the fall semester (August through December) begins in September, and registration for the spring semester (January through May) begins in November. Our Early Day at Fay program does not operate during school holidays. Pricing for Early Day at Fay varies and is designed to allow for a staggered dismissal of students based on their grade levels. Parents must choose which day(s) of the week their child will attend Early Day at Fay before the semester begins. As the start of this program for this fall semester is October 1, registration will open on September 20. A $25 registration fee will be waived from September 18 through September 28. All registrations received after September 28 will be charged a $25 registration fee. If your family is in need of early morning childcare for five days each week, these prices would be multiplied by five and that total would be your semester cost. We will accept drop-ins with 24-hours’ notice for a fee of $25 per morning. The pricing for this fall's program is a prorated amount, based on our full-semester rates, due to the program's late start. The prices listed below are for one semester. These prices are for one day each week through the semester. For example, for this fall semester, registration for Monday would include every Monday from October 1 until we dismiss for the winter break on December 21. 2018 FALL SEMESTER (OCTOBER 1 – DECEMBER 21) Primary I and II
