LJC Program Guide 2024-25

Page 1

Dear Neighbour,

It has been a difficult year for all of us. The devastating news out of Israel and the rise of Anti-Semitism here at home, it has reminded us about the need to feel a part of the community.

Our community began 18 years ago at the St-Hubert Chicken that once stood at the corner of Avenue Road & Lawrence. So much has happened during the last 18 years...

Inspired by the legacy of the Lubavitcher Rebbe of saintly memory, to bring the joy of Judaism to every single Jew, regardless of their affiliation and level of observance, we have stayed true to this goal by establishing an amazing Summer Camp, a much sought after Preschool, pioneering after-school Hebrew School in 5 local public schools, seniors programs at local retirement homes, revolutionizing shul for young families by establishing the “Kids Shul”, introducing cTeen to inspire local teenagers, and so much more.

Today, the Ledbury Jewish Centre boasts a state-of-the-art building serving thousands!

We are reaching a point that we won’t be able to accomodate more families. We are therefore excited to announce that in the coming year, we will be opening a second location at the corner of Cortleigh Blvd and Bathurst St. (across from Bialik), to ensure that we will never have to turn anyone away due to lack of space.

We encourage you to browse through this catalogue of amazing programs and to be a part of it!

Wishing you a Shana Tova, a happy and healthy New Year!
