Digital Media Literacy for Secondary Students

Following the specification of the Junior Cycle 100-hour short course on Digital Media Literacy, this programme integrates print and digital media by incorporating videos and QR codes to maximise student engagement.

The programme consists of a workbook with QR codes to access student-friendly activities and a comprehensive teacher manual to support delivery of the programme.

The course aims to deepen a student’s ability to use digital technology, communication tools and the internet in a creative, critical, and safe manner.
