Why did you start your Etsy Shop? I started Lil Yellow Home Designs back in 2018 as a bit of creative fun, I then really started taking things seriously when I became a full time Mum and decided to stay at home with my little one instead of returning to employment.

Why did you start your Etsy shop?

We began making copper hearts during the first lockdown to help raise money for charities during the pandemic. Dan is a plumber and was furloughed so he was trying to use his spare time for a worthy cause. How did you come up with the name of your Etsy shop?

Our hearts were being bought and displayed as a sign of hope that things would get better during the pandemic How do you spend your downtime?

Jewellery handmade from silver, gold and copper embellished with semi-precious stones. Stained glass handmade using both Tiffany/copper foil and leaded techniques. Why did you start your Etsy shop? I started making jewellery for myself but found I really enjoyed the process and I ended up with too much! So I could continue making I started selling it on Etsy in April 2017 and sold my first items in May that year. What is your favourite medium to work with? My jewellery making has gone through many phases from beads to polymer clay and now on to silver and gold as my skills have progressed. What is your favourite medium to work with? I love working with natural products, oak and cotton are always my favourites. How did you come up with the name Woolly Fingers? I am constantly holding wool in my hands, all the day, everyday. Whether I am doing a string art items or crocheting, always involves wool. Where were you when you had your first sale on Etsy? In my car, while dropping the kids off to school. we all had a little dance. How do you spend your down time? Crocheting, I just love doing it. Commissions or something

What does everyone need to know about Woolly Fingers? I always use natural materials that are good quality to have an end product that shows durability and quality above all. Where does the name Paper Ink Alchemy come from? It took me years to come up with a name that felt right, I mainly play with Paper and Ink, and just loved the meaning behind Alchemy ‘a seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination’. It just fits! Where do you make your work? Part of the joy of what I do is that I can do it anywhere, I’ve worked from coffee shops, beaches, boats! But mainly I work in my home studio in rural Worcestershire.

What is your favourite medium to work with? I think paper and papercutting is always going to hold a special place for me, who knew cutting up paper with knives could look so pretty! Where does your shop name Flowbyflo come from? I combined the 'flow' of the paint with my nick-name 'Flo' Where do you make your art? In my home studio, a converted cellar What is your favourite part of being a seller on Etsy? Getting lovely feedback, knowing that the actual painting always looks so much better than the photos! Where were you when you made your first sale on Etsy? At home on my PC! My first customer was an old school friends who'd been following my progress. What does everyone need to know about Flowbyflo? If someone sees a style of painting they like they can request a commission in colours that suit their home. Every painting in unique and unrepeatable, but I can make similar items. I try to take good accurate photos and videos, but everyone remarks that you have to see them in person to really appreciate the detail and effects.

Handmade home decor items from embroidery to prints! Why did you start your Etsy shop? Louisa Claire Designs all started when I decided I wanted to make a birth keepsake for my nephew Charlie. I had been given one by my godmother when I was born and I still have it in my studio now so I thought it would be a lovely gift for my sister. I enjoyed the process so much I carried on designing and it evolved from there to commissions for house portraits and wedding mementos.

What is your favourite medium to work with? My favourite medium to work with is definitely glue and feathers! If you're not making a mess then you are not having fun and it is virtually impossible to keep clean and tidy when working with glue. The feathers are just beautiful to work with, you really get a feel for the bird whose feathers you are working on and feel privileged to get to see the variety of colour up close and personal. Where do you make you products? During lockdown last year, I had my own studio made up attached to the house. enjoy sitting at my desk, looking out the window and watching all the little birds play and hop around the garden. How do you spend your downtime? I spend most of my down time walking around my local country lanes and forest with my dog. This is where I get my inspiration and where I simply daydream and watch the most amazing birds and animals. Because I go for these walks so regularly it's lovely watching the seasons, from the change in colour of the leaves to the change in behaviours of birds and other wildlife.

I love working with concrete as there are many different types which all produce different effects and patterns when they set. I was at home and in all honestly i freaked out a little bit! It's nerve wrecking to put yourself and your products out there but it's worth it when strangers believe in what you do! What does everyone need to know about Coinneal Candle Co? Everything is totally unique - especially our concrete candles. Often we don't know what patterns will be formed or what colour will emerge until we remove them from the mould. It makes for an exciting process and will mean you will receive a one of a kind item.

Handmade gifts from a crafty ginger! What is your favourite medium to work with? That's such a tricky question! I really love all the mediums I work with for different reasons, I think at the moment I am particularly enjoying working with polymer clay, as it creates lots of interesting and unique patterns meaning that no two pieces of jewellery come out the same. Where did the name Crafty Carrot Gifts come from? My boss nicknamed me Carrot when he first met me on account of my bright orange hair and so I thought that has to be the starting place for my shop name after a little brain storming with some lovely friends, Crafty Carrot Gifts was born!

How did you come up with your shop name? I used to sew upstairs in a small box room after my children were in bed, I always left the curtains open so if the moon was visible its light would shine in..My makes are all about inspiring magic, creativity, imaginative play and storytelling. I made up a story where two children, a brother and sister, are collected by a bear in a rowing boat, they wear their crowns and sail past the moon ....off for night time adventures... your creations are in homes all around the UK. How did you come up with your shop name? I adore Blueberrys (usually for breakfast) and like a magpie I see colourful buttons as pure treasure and use them daily in my work so the two natually had to come together to form "Blueberry Button".

What does everyone need to know about Blueberry Button? That I truely love what I do, I have never tired of making things. I feel lucky and immense happiness in that I am honestly doing my "dream job" now. I hope my cheerfulness and enthusiasm comes across in my designs, fabric choices and quality of finish...
