Apostle Edith Conover

Reared by the Late Deacon John Munn, Sr. and the Late Marie Rattley-Munn from the age of two months old, her environment was one where service to God was of the utmost importance. When she was a child the impression of the life of a missionary to Africa left an incredible mark on the course of her life. She found herself drawn to the call of the mission field when she was only 10 years old. Sitting in the pew of Bethel United Holy Church, during a missionary service, 10-year-old Edith had an open vision of Jesus; high and lifted up, with blood-stained hands, calling her to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ; preaching that evening was missionary Hargrove, Edith’s Inspiration.

Edith met and married her husband Jarrett N. Conover at the age of 19, they began their journey together under the leadership of Bishop Jesse Spivey and has been married for almost 50 years.

She answered the call of God and began preaching the Gospel; and was consecrated as a missionary at the age of 20 years old. Her first missionary journey was alongside her spiritual father, Pastor John McDonald, to Nigeria, West Africa. She was ordained as an Evangelist at the age of 22 and over the next 26 years evangelized in over 15 countries preaching the fact that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Her message has been strong and faithful; she has led many people to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Evangelist Conover has ministered to large and small crowds in African countries such as Nigeria, Liberia, and Accra-Ghana, all in West Africa. She has ministered in Surinam, Holland, South America, Barbados, Israel, and Panama as well as the United States.

Pastor Conover received the word from the Lord in 1991 to begin a ministry for hurting souls. She, along with her husband Pastor Jarrett N. Conover, Sr., began the church as “Fight For Oneness Christian Family Worship Ministries, Inc. The church presently known as “Victory Christian Family Worship International Ministries, Inc. “has been located at 1476 West State Street in Trenton, New Jersey, for over 23 years.

Pastor Edith Conover was appointed to the Apostleship by God in May 2003 through the Holy City Covenant Church of Brooklyn, New York, where Callie Mae Jasper, is Presiding Prelate. The walk of the Apostle has been truly one of humility, faithfulness and waiting on God. She has conducted many revivals, women’s prayer groups, women’s seminars, marriage seminars, and bible studies in senior citizens’ homes and community centers. Recently, she has been voted to sit on the Board of Directors of Hamilton Parks Apartments. She has also sat on the Board of Concerned Pastors for Mental Health and Pastor’s Advocate for Aids Awareness. Her love for people has led her to the personal ministry of marriage counseling, family counseling and personal deliverance.

Her vision of the church purchasing a building was finally realized in the middle of 2013 and this blessing has demonstrated that we serve an awesome God who always takes care of His people. The new church building is located at 29 West Ingham Ave, Trenton, NJ 08618.

Apostle Anthony L. Covington

Apostle Anthony L. Covington Sr. is originally from Trenton, NJ but has lived in North Carolina for much of his life. Anthony and his loving wife of six years, Minister Danielle Covington, are blessed to have a beautiful, blended family that includes nine children: Chuck, Anthony Jr, Jasmine, Jayla, Ahmaya,Nyasia, Jaeden, Camryn and Camory Blu.

Growing up he was blessed with Holy Ghost filled grandparents and spent many weekends with his family members filling every inch of their 700 sq. ft. country home in Wilson, North Carolina. During this time, his grandparents taught him to love God and to live a holy lifestyle.

They took him to church on the weekends - and on his knees, they taught him to pray. He also witnessed at a very young age healings and prophecy right in their home. However, it was confirmed in his spirit, to preach the Word of God in his late 20's... with his initial sermon being in 1998 which took place at 'New Saint Delight Church' in Mount Olive, NC entitled "When Being Tempted, Keep the Faith."

After a few years, he accepted the call of Pastor and began his ministry, Higher Place of Worship Center in January 2006 under the tutelage of Dr. Bishop Raymond Horton Ill of Unity Life Christian Ministries in Suitland, Maryland. Apostle elect is known to be a very humble man, diligent, trustworthy, and loving which has drawn many to the body of Christ. His passion is to see lives transformed through God's Word, love, and healing power. His zeal for sharing the Word of God continues to have the congregation on the edge of their seats anticipating the next move of God. But more than that he is one that lives out the pages of the Word that he preaches and is truly a man after God's own heart.

The Lord placed it upon his heart in the year 2015 to start the building of multiple ministries and has since moved to Delaware in 2019. He founded the Worship Center in Wilmington, Delaware in August of 2020, and the Worship Center in Virginia as of September 2022 ensuring prayer as the foundation on which the ministry is built upon. He was consecrated as an Apostle in September of 2022 under the leadership Overseer, Apostle Edith R. Conover.

In addition to the church, he and his wife oversees the ministry's nonprofit organization, Higher Place Outreach and has added value by providing necessary resources to the community such as food, clothing, medical supplies, finances, opportunities for jobs, training, and housing. Higher Place Outreach has received backing from the city of Wilmington, its Councilwoman, and other major organizations in the state of Delaware.

Pastor Maurice Anthony Williams, Sr.

1st Corinthians 13:11 says, “As a child, I spoke, understood, and thought like a child, but as I grew into manhood, I put aside childish ways.” This scripture verse resonates deeply with a man of God who embodies honesty and humility before the Lord. Born on July 5, 1974, to Gloria Williams-Munn and the late Jerry Lacey and raised by John D. Munn, Jr. and Joyce "Glennie" Davis, Maurice was nurtured to lead.

As the eldest of five siblings, he demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities from a young age. He received his formal education in Hamilton Township School District of NJ and graduated from Nottingham High School in 1993. However, it was his spiritual awakening in November 1999 at New Bethel United Holy Church that truly defined his path. Inspired by his grandfather, the late John D. Munn, Sr., Maurice dedicated his life to the Lord, marking the beginning of a profound journey.

Alongside his wife, Prophetess Vena Williams, whom he has shared twenty-four years of love and ministry with, Maurice embarked on a spiritual quest. Together, they began fellowshipping at Fight For Oneness Christian Family Worship Center in February 2000, eventually joining the congregation under the guidance of Pastors Edith and Jarrett N. Conover, Sr. This marked a significant milestone in their walk of faith, as they continued to grow and serve alongside their spiritual leaders.

Maurice's commitment to serving the Lord led to his ordination as a Deacon in 2003, followed by his elevation to Elder in 2005. With a humble heart and unwavering love for God, he worked faithfully alongside his pastor and co-pastor, ultimately being called to lead as Assistant Pastor in 2008.

For twenty-four years, Pastor Williams has faithfully served at Victory Christian Family Worship Ministries, Inc. He has excelled as a Sunday School teacher for various age groups and has worked diligently in outreach services for the homeless. His children affectionately call him "Father Maurice." As a father of six adult children and grandfather of fifteen, he prioritizes his prayer life, dedication, and love for his family to remain attuned to God's guidance.

Thanks to the unwavering support of her Aunt Rose and Uncle DeeDee, now her Senior Pastors, Michelle discovered a welcoming church community that nurtured her spirit, mind, and soul. Her resilience and unwavering faith inspire those around her, reminding everyone that God’s strength can overcome any obstacle.

As she embarks on becoming a missionary, Michelle is committed to sharing the hope she found in Christ with those still facing life’s challenges. This experience taught her the significance of prayer, fasting, and the power of the Holy Spirit..

After completing her degree, Ashley returned to New Jersey, where she began dating Devin Fleming. The couple married in 2012, embarking on a journey of faith and love together. In 2016, Ashley pursued further education at United Christian Institute, earning certificates in Christian Workers and Evangelism, which further equipped her for ministry.

Sharon Burnett

Sharon Burnett was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. Having lived there for 40 years, she has now been a resident of Morrisville, Pennsylvania for the past 28 years.

Sharon Burnett joined New Bethel Kingdom Faith Ministries in the summer of 2011. Having been invited to church by Mother Mildred Bland. The first thing she noticed was the atmosphere in the church sanctuary was like none she’d ever experienced before. This church was truly a praying church where the Lord surely dwelled.

One evening the church had an old fashion tarrying service. It was at this service she received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. This was the true beginning of her journey with God. Sharon had been called to ministry when she was 25 years old. Despite being in church all her life, she was just not ready to accept the call. She joined the praise team and joined the kitchen committee. Sharon attended the United Christian Institute studying Evangelism, General Bible 1 and General Bible 2 under the leadership of Pastor Goodwyn and Dr. Francine Martin.

After being a member for 10 years, Sharon finally decided to accept the call God had placed on her life. She finally realized that no matter how she ran away from it, the call was not going anywhere. So, she finally told her pastor, the late Apostle Melvin Fleming, that God had called her to the ministry. His advice to her was this “time will tell” as the walk-in ministry would not be an easy one. She realized it was time to do what God had called her to do.

Sharon’s favorite scriptures are Psalms 91 and Matthew 19:26 which says, “with God all things are possible.” Her advice to people who have the call is this, run to it, not from it.

Andrew Cousar Fleming is the son of the late Apostle Melvin S. Fleming Jr. and Overseer Lady Denise Fleming, both of whom have profoundly influenced his spiritual journey and commitment to service. Growing up in Lawrence Township, NJ, Andrew developed a deep rooted sense of community and purpose that has shaped his life and ministry.

A proud graduate of Lawrence High School, he has always embraced opportunities for growth and learning. Andrew's dedication to his faith and his community drives him to uplift others. With a heart for service and a vision for unity, he strives to inspire those around him to walk in their divine purpose and foster positive change in their communities.

Currently, Andrew attends New Bethel Kingdom Faith Ministries, where he passionately leads the Youth Department and serves in the Music Ministry as a talented drummer. His commitment to faith is evident in his unwavering dedication to guiding young people on their spiritual journeys.

As a devoted husband to Jera Fleming and a loving father to his son Maszi, Andrew understands the importance of family and faith. He is on the path to becoming a Deacon, reflecting his deep commitment to serving God and his Community.

Andrew’s passion for the love of God fuels his desire to live out his faith authentically, striving to be the man God has called him to be. With a heart for service and love for music, he aims to inspire others in their walk with Christ.

One of Andrew’s favorite scriptures is Psalms 1.
