President’s Report

Dear Members,

As we reach the end of 2025, it’s hard to believe how quickly this year has flown. Serving as your Club President has been an honour and I’ve enjoyed seeing so many memorable occasions unfold at our Club. I’m proud of the role we’ve played in the community, the support we’ve provided through our contributions and the variety of experiences we’ve shared together. We’ve embraced new opportunities, listened to feedback and the results are plain to see.

Our ClubGRANTS program has once again been a highlight of the year. Working alongside such dedicated organisations has been truly motivating, and the difference they are making across our community is something we can all be proud of –with special mention to our long-standing partners at Karonga School. It has also been a big year for food and dining at the Club. Casual dining in 45 on Rawson has gone from strength to strength, with our popular seniors’ meals proving a weekly highlight, while Miss Yuè has now been delighting members and guests (and acclaimed Chef Matt Moran!) for a full year.

Our Events team recently received a fabulous accolade, winning The Wedding Industry Awards ‘1st Place Wedding Venue, Greater Sydney’ in their venue category. This achievement is a testament to the exceptional events they produce week after week and the dedication of the entire team. By chance, this recognition aligns with the announcement of the Club’s event space renovation, scheduled for completion in March 2026. This transformation will deliver even greater luxury and versatility for couples and celebrations of all kinds. You can read more about the exciting plans for this project on the back cover.

The new year promises even more, with an entertainment line-up that includes sensational Casey Donovan, One Night in Memphis and the return of Opera in the Club. We’ll mark Australia Day in true celebratory style, followed by a Chinese New Year cash draw to keep the fun rolling.
