Ronnie F. Compton Jr., born on Ronnie and Deaconess Compton, grew up in NC. He gave his life to t an early age and always ere was a call on his life. He arly start in ministry serving Sinai Missionary Baptist in Durham, NC, where he nd led in various capacities stries.
ol, Pastor Ronnie moved to He studied at and graduated Charlotte with a Bachelor of ce Studies and Education. He ce degree in Higher Education Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. He enjoys volunteering, traveling, mentoring young people, and planning events in his free time but spends the majority of his time working for Communities In Schools of Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Over the last eight years, he has served in various roles, including Student Support Specialist at Ashley Park, TRiO College Counselor at Harding University High School, and Alumni Program Manager.
He currently serves at The Connecting Place at Greater Salem under the leadership of Bishop Alan G. Porter, in Charlotte, NC, where is a member of the Pastoral Staff. He continues to support and serve his home church in Durham, NC as well. He is married to Jessica Compton and they will be celebrating one-year of marriage in May. He is the proud god-father of four amazing children who mean the world to him, Sa’Nayah, Denim, Kayden, and Jeziel. He lives by the scripture “Seeking first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and letting all of the other things be added unto him.”, which is found in Matthew 6:33. He is excited about his future because he loves what he sees and he truly believes that things are getting better!
