PRINCIPALS OVER THE YEARS Mr. Cuthbert W. Brathwaite was the first Principal of Ellerslie, he retired after eleven (11) years in office from (1966 - 1977) . Mr. Walter Trotman succeeded Mr. Brathwaite in 1977. remained at the helm until his retirement in 1983.

Miss. Velda Gooding succeeded Mr. Walter Trotman to become the first female Principal of the school. She retired in December 1985. Mr. Sylvester Niles took up the office as Principal from 1986 and retired in February, 1999. Mr. Douglas Corbin was appointed to the post of Principal in September 1999 and retired in January, 2010.
