Couples Programme If you’re a couple that love to travel, stay in some of the world’s finest accommodations and meet fascinating, like minded people. Our collection of Couples Events provides a great opportunity to share some of the best experiences golf has to offer!

We make a special effort to engage every participant, cater to non-playing partners, and help foster new friendships, creating outstanding trips that are designed for 50+ couples who originate from the finest clubs and come together to meet, compete and socialise with similar people who want to have a fun packed vacation with some great golf.

Unlike any other golf club in the world our Couples Events Schedule caters to members needs throughout the year regardless of their ability. Whether you’re a low single digit golfer or relatively new to the game, the club makes sure we pair you up with other golfers of similar ability so no one ever feels self conscious. And if your partner doesn’t golf, we even organise golfing partners and daily excursions for non-golfers to keep everyone happy!

Our couples events typically combine highly desirable locations, some of the world’s top private courses, with a wonderful social programme that is truly unique in golf.

European Invitational: Each June, the Club hosts a three-day European Invitational at one of Europe’s finest destinations providing members the opportunity to stay in some of each local’s finest resorts. Recent events have taken place At Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany, Finca Corsetin in Sotogrande, Terre Blanche in Provence, Cala De Volpe in Sardinia, Villa D’Este on Lake Como, London and Paris. Future destinations will also include Monte Carlo, Vienna, Rome, Prague, Sicily, Cascais in Portugal, Greece and Marrakesh. At each event couples play two 9-hole matches each day with the winners of each flight competing in a playoff final.

Teaching Camps: Whatever stage you’re at, come and improve your game with the world’s top teachers.

We believe that apart from being educational training camps have to be fun! Whatever stage you’re at you can always improve your game with the world’s top teachers. From beginner’s to scratch golfers the club takes care of every single participant and helps create programmes specifically for your game! Utilising our relationships with some of the world’s top teaching professionals like David Leadbetter, Jim McLean and Bob Rotella, the Club hosts teaching camps each spring to help you get your game in shape for the season ahead.

The Founders Cup: The Founders Cup is held each year in St Andrews, Scotland at the end of September through the beginning of October, right after the Dunhill Championship. It provides a unique opportunity to play three world class links courses right after our professional counterparts. But it’s much more than just a traditional Club Championship. It’s more a of a celebration with Members and Guests coming together from all around the world. Each day we play 18 holes on either the Old Course, St Andrews, Kingsbarns or Carnoustie and at night there are wonderful social receptions including our welcome dinner overlooking the Old Course and our annual Gala Dinner at Pittormie Castle where male members dress in traditional Scottish Kilts for a magical night of entertainment.

The Couples Cup: Staged in the Autumn of each year the Couples Cup is held in the second week of November providing an opportunity to join in the fun at one of world’s most idyllic tropical locations. Whether its Bermuda, Barbados, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Cabo Del Sol, Punta Mita, Hawaii or Maui the combination of wonderful private courses with the very best resorts builds the foundation for three days and 54 holes of pure magic!

Play the best courses in Scotland, Ireland and the rest of the UK: With the club’s home in St. Andrews, the Eden Club is uniquely qualified to create customised tours for couples combing the best courses and the finest accommodations whatever the location.

In Scotland our recommended trips focus on five areas; St Andrews, North Berwick (close to Edinburgh), the West Coast, Aberdeen and North of Inverness.

In England trips are organised around the coast of Liverpool, on the South Coast (Deal) and around the London area.

The club takes care of finding local homes, private chef’s, nightly dining, transfers, local golf, tickets and all the usual little touches to make the experience extra special.

Golf & Wine: Golf and wine are passions that many members share and some of our events provide an opportunity to visit some of the finest vineyards in Tuscany, Boudreaux, Burgundy, Napa and Sonoma, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Many of these experiences are combined with special dinners prepared by world famous chef’s in beautiful locations.

A cruise with the Eden Club is one big party and adventure with your friends right from the beginning! With summer cruises around the Mediterranean and winter cruises between Florida and a variety of Caribbean islands, cruising has never been so much fun!

Each year the club organises a ten-day break to one of our ‘Once In A Lifetime’ destinations. These magical journeys are designed for 12 to 18 couples and include a variety of amazing excursions. In 2016 for example we head to South Africa for three days of golf, safari, a trip on the luxury Rovos Rail train, wine tasting in Cape Town including a cable ride to the top of Table Mountain and a boat trip with the opportunity to get in one of the cages to view Great White Sharks. Other amazing trips will include Australia and New Zealand, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Argentina and Chile, Hong Kong and China, Thailand and Phuket and an amazing trip to India.
