Frustrations outbreak inside the Congress party when today 20 Congress MLAs signed a press note denouncing the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting called by the CLP leader Nabam Tuki scheduled to take place day after tomorrow (Nov.08). The disgruntled members are now high in numbers, altogether 20 of them as against the Tuki team which has only 26 now. Kalikho Pul who was officially expelled from the party early in April this year finds solace to find way inside the angry birds’ team. His name was seen to be the first to sign the press note. A division bench of the top court consisting of Justice T S Thakur and V Gopala Gowda said that there was no ground for Sinh to get bail at this stage where the crucial investigations have yet to be completed. The refusal of the division bench forced Sinh's counsel Harin Raval to withdraw the petition. Assam Bhawan officer dead New Delhi, Nov 6: A pall of gloom grips Assamese community in New Delhi following the sudden death of an officer posted at the Assam Bhawan in the capital city on Friday. The Kaziranga National Park is open for tourists after its routine closure for the monsoon season. The authorities have made elaborate arrangements to make the visit of the tourists to the world heritage site memorable. The Kaziranga National Park is situated in Golaghat and Nagaon districts of Assam. The park, spread in an area of 430 kms, hosts twothird of the world’s great one-

horned rhinoceroses. Assam’s Forest and Environment Minister Etwa Munda opened the park at Mihimukh elephant tower in the Kohora Range in the presence of foreign and domestic tourists. “We have opened the jeep and elephant safari. Last time, we have received 1, 31,000 tourists out of which 9,000 were foreigners. We collected 2.9 crore of revenue and this time we are expecting more tourists from different parts of the world. Emphasising on 'Make in India' call by prime minister Narender Modi, Bajrang Dal Tinsukia unit on Friday called for boycott of Chinese lights and crackers. Addressing a press meet, Bajrang Dal members said that there is an urge of the public of Tinsukia to boycott Chinese lights and crackers and give importance to those made in India.
