Milligan and Rowe Earn Good Neighbor Award

Green Thumb Awards By Joanna Loftus

There are many types landscapes in Dobson Ranch, due in part to our wonderful Arizona climate. We hear the term Xeriscape a lot… so what is that? It is derived from two words: xeros or dry, and scape as in landscape. Together, it means “low water landscaping”. The aesthetic landscape choices at 2027 S. Henkel have included water efficiency and energy efficiency as well as appearance, in this lovely, simple front yard. A front yard, regardless of its size, plays an important role in a home’s overall curb appeal. No matter what type of landscape you choose, it is a great investment for both present enjoyment and future value. Thanks to these residents for providing such a pleasant view and making Dobson Ranch a lovely place to live!

We would like to thank our neighbors, Jack and Trish Milligan. They came to our rescue the night of the Christmas Boat Parade. We had electrical problems and were not able to power our pontoon boat. They came over and towed us in the parade. We really appreciate them taking time out of their busy Saturday evening to help us. Also to Rich Rowe for helping “hold the ropes” with Gary.. Thank you! You are the best… Patty and Gary Smith

There are so many impressive and well-manicured yards in Dobson Ranch that it’s hard to pick each month. If you would like your yard or a neighbor’s yard featured as a Green Thumb winner, just contact me at 480-831-8314 or email editor@dobsonranch.com.
