Welcome to the Summer Scorcher edition of Vegas Dreams. Vegas is back, baby! The dog days of summer are here and perhaps the only thing hotter than Vegas temps in August is the luxury real estate market. While 2020 was most certainly an unusual year with plenty of hardship and challenges for us all, there were some silver linings to be found. The luxury housing market in the Las Vegas Valley was certainly one of them and this red-hot market shows no sign of slowing down in 2021. Having lived in Las Vegas for more than 26 years, it was difficult to see the vibrant Strip dim its lights, as our world-class restaurants and entertainment venues sat empty. We have an amazing workforce in this city that relies heavily on our tourist industry and it is wonderful to see our airport and hotels bustling once again. Having worked at Caesar’s Palace for many years, I understand how difficult Covid-19 was on our local economy. But our fabulous city is once again thriving and looks to rebound better than ever.
