WHO’S OPENING AND WHERE Dunkin’ Brands (781-737-3000), through a franchise agreement with ABDD Arizona, is planning to open seven Dunkin’ Donuts locations throughout Phoenix, AZ. The company also has plans to open franchised locations throughout Prescott Valley, Lake Havasu, Sierra Vista, Benson and Wilcox, AZ, along with 63 locations scheduled to open throughout the San Francisco Bay area, Palm Springs and Bakersfield, CA areas during the next several years. The company, serving coffee, donuts and breakfast sandwiches, operates more than 11,000 locations throughout 33 countries. TJX Cos., Inc. (508-390-1000) is planning to open a 22,454 sq.ft. HomeGoods store at The Mayfair Collection, a 400,000 sq.ft. retail development located at the intersection of Highway 45 and Burleigh Street in Wauwatosa, WI during fall 2015. The store will be the company’s second location in the Milwaukee metropolitan area and will join Nordstrom Rack, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Saks Fifth Avenue OFF FIFTH at the site. The company trades as T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods and A.J. Wright. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema (571-293-6808) is planning to open a location at Village Center in Baton Rouge, LA during mid-2016. The facility, featuring seven screens and 900 seats, will be the chain’s first location in the state. The company currently operates more than 19 locations. AFC Enterprises, Inc. (404-459-4450), through a franchised expansion plan, is looking to open 20 Popeye’s restaurants. The company currently operates more than 2,300 fast-food restaurants worldwide.

Nordstrom, Inc. (206-628-2111) is planning to open a 36,000 sq.ft. two-story Nordstrom Rack store at 1600 Commons, a shopping center located along Federal Highway between Northeast 15th Street and 16th Street in Ft. Lauderdale, FL during fall 2016. The company will join Office Depot and Trader Joe’s at the center. The chain offers apparel, footwear and accessories for men and women, and currently operates more than 280 locations nationwide throughout 40 states, trading as Nordstrom at 118 locations, Nordstrom Rack at 167 locations, Jeffrey boutique at two locations and one clearance outlet. Hennes & Mauritz AB (212-564-9922) is planning to open a 20,000 sq.ft. H&M store at a mixed-use development located along Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo, CA during fall 2016. It will be the company’s 69th location in the state. The company is also planning to open a store at Boynton Beach Mall, located along North Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach, FL during fall 2015. The company will join Macy’s at the site. The chain, offering men’s, women’s and children’s apparel, as well as accessories, currently operates more than 3,000 locations worldwide. Marco’s Pizza (800-836-2074) is planning to operate 1,000 locations by the end of 2016. The company currently operates more than 500 restaurants nationwide. Chick-fil-A, Inc. (404-765-8000) is planning to open a Chick-fil-A fast-food restaurant along Georgia Avenue in Olney, MD during spring 2016. The company currently operates more than 1,850 locations throughout 41 states nationwide.

Cabela’s, Inc. (308-254-5505) is planning to open a 79,000 sq.ft. Cabela’s store in Gainesville, VA during spring 2017. It will be the company’s first location in the Washington, DC area and will also feature a deli and fudge shop. Planned locations are also scheduled to open in Bristol and Short Pump, VA during fall 2015 and spring 2016. The chain, offering hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and other outdoor-related equipment, apparel and gear, currently operates more than 64 locations nationwide. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. (405-745-1100) is planning to open a 60,000 sq.ft. Hobby Lobby store in the site of a former JC Penney at Hickory Point Mall in Forsyth, NC during September 2015. The chain, offering seasonal items, home décor, art, craft and hobby supplies, as well as custom picture framing, currently operates more than 600 locations throughout the U.S., and also operates under the trade-name Mardel. MOOYAH Franchise, LLC (855-666-9247) is planning to open five to six MOOYAH Burger, Fries & Shakes restaurants throughout the El Paso, TX market. The chain, based in TX and offering burgers, hotdogs, fries and dessert items, currently operates 69 MOOYAH Burgers, Fries and Shakes restaurants throughout 17 states in the U.S. and in Canada, as well as internationally and also trades as Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar. Pie Five Pizza Co. (855-955-7435) is seeking to open a Pizza Five Pizza Co. restaurant in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN market during 2015.The company is also planning to open 24 to 30 pizzerias throughout the Twin Cities region during the coming five to seven years. The company is also planning to open 10 locations throughout the U.S. during 2015. Nike, Inc.
