Death notice
Death notice ASHBY, Judi Ann – Daughter of Gordon and Marian Mustard. She has a younger brother John and a sister Michelle sixteen years her junior. A bright girl of Scottish decent, skipped 2 years of public school and attended Leaside Public High School where she met her husband Stan Alan Ashby from North Toronto. They were married in 1972 after she left her course in Interior Design at Ryerson. She excelled at everything she attempted and the variety of her career skills made her a fitting example of a Universal Woman or Superwoman. From 1973 to 1977 she gave birth to Alysa Antares, David Orion and Megan Altair. With Judi’s support they have gone on to successful careers in Graphic Design, Software Development and Instructional Design, respectively. Collies have been part of their lives since before they were married 40 years ago. And as all good dogs go to heaven, Judi will prepare a place for the halfdozen or so that are currently on this earth. Judi has friends and relatives throughout the province and in Nova Scotia, BC, Manitoba, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Judi couldn’t be prouder of her 3 kids, 5 1/2 grand kids, 2 sons-in-law and daughter-in-law. Judi blessed the lives of all around her and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Judi’s life for family and close friends will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, 21 First St., Orangeville on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 1 pm with a visitation 1 hour prior to service time. (Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com)
