Meet Betty the Confetti Yeti. Betty is the Chief Party Planner at Confetti Yeti Celebrations and plans all the parties here on the mountain. She ALWAYS celebrates with confetti and leaves her mark everywhere she goes.
And this is Betty’s brother, Eddie. He wants to be a party planner just like Betty!
Betty celebrates things like... Snow!
Seasons are some of the most fun to celebrate.
Wahoo!
Hot chocolate is SNOW good
Betty also celebrates family!
When Betty’s Grandpa got a new hip, they danced all night!
Now that was a party!
“No sun? No problem!”
Betty brightens up a gloomy day with her famous rainbow-fetti-filled pancakes!
Sometimes parties don’t go exactly as planned. Like that time when Betty’s Grandpa sneezed all over his birthday cake.
Not the cake!
a-a-A-C-H-O-O
But that’s when she shines.
A party-planning superhero always saves the party!
“The wish is the most important part anyways,” whispers Betty as she places a candle in a peanut butter and sprinkle sandwich.
Let’s get this party started!
Today, Betty has something very exciting to celebrate - a new neighbor, Mrs. Winkle!
A sprinkle of this...
A dash of that... VOILA!
“Here she comes now!”
“Welcome, Mrs. Winkle!” cheers Betty. “UGH, is this confetti? YUCK! What a mess!” scowls Mrs. Winkle as she walks inside.
Betty gasps, “A mess? Everyone likes to celebrate, and certainly everyone likes confetti! This is a celebration catastrophe!” And that’s when it hits her...
MY NEW NEIGHBOR IS A PARTY POOPER!
The next morning Betty takes a bite of cake and declares, “Eddie, the show must go on! I’ll have to celebrate something else today!”
Betty realizes she is out of confetti and heads to Confetti Yeti Headquarters where she keeps her confetti collection.
It must be over here...
Or under there... Is my confetti gone?
“EDDIE! THE CONFETTI IS MISSING!”
Betty quickly spreads the news of the missing confetti all over town. She was even on TV. “If there’s no confetti, there are NO celebrations!”
Betty explains to the reporters.
Did you hear that? No more celebrations?!
This is a disaster!
Betty thinks she knows EXACTLY who has it.
The next morning, Betty hears a knock on the door. “Mrs. Winkle?! What are YOU doing here?”
“Good morning, Betty. I’m so sorry I was a grump the other day. I wanted to make it up to you and gathered everyone from the mountain to make you confetti!”
And that’s when it hits her like a cake in the face! The magic of a celebration isn’t the confetti, it’s having others to CELEBRATE with!
Betty’s thoughts are interrupted by a strange noise...
KABOOM!
“OK IT WAS ME!” wails Eddie. “Betty, I wanted to celebrate something that is never celebrated - YOU! It was supposed to be a surprise. I guess I still have a lot to learn about party planning.”
Breaking news! the confetti has been found!
Betty smiles and hugs her brother. “Eddie, this is the best surprise ever. The case of the missing confetti is solved!”
“What are we going to celebrate tomorrow, Betty?” Betty yawns, “Let’s celebrate everything.”
