together with the College of Engineering, CE, hosted a lecture series having Prof. Argel Bandala, PhD, a PUP CE alumnus and now a professor of De Lasalle University's Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering as the event's principal guest speaker who shared stories of his successful journey on the IT and research field along with his expertise on the areas of robotics and artificial intelligence, September 20 at PUP Bulwagang Balagtas. The said technology-enlightening occasion was attended by students of CCIS and CE, together with the colleges' faculty, deans, and some of the College of Science, CS, staff. PUP Research officials were also present and were able to give insightful messages to all.

The CCIS Student Council spearheaded most of the activities, together with the other organizations such as the PUP ASCII, PUP IBITS, PUP-TPG and The Compiler, and created a scoring system which determined who emerged in the end of all events and even boosted camaraderie among students, despite the differences of their sections. House Bomberman was comprised of students from BSCS FS-2, BSIT 2-3, BSIT 1-2N and BSCS 1-1N; BSCS FS-1, BSIT 1-3, BSCS 1-4 and BSIT 2-Petition for House Contra; BSIT 3-1, BSCS 2-Petition,BSIT 1-1 and BSIT 1-2 for House Doom; House Megaman included BSCS 2-1N, BSIT 1-2, BSCS 2-4 and BSIT 1-1N.
