A message from our Recreation Director
Fellow Residents, Euclid Recreation Department is committed to providing year-round recreational activities and special events that contribute to health and well-being of people of all ages and abilities. Recreational programming is provided through Senior Programs, Briardale Greens, C.E. Orr Ice Arena, Ralph V. Hill Memorial Pool/Indian Hills Spray Park and a vast network of outdoor fields, playgrounds, courts, and walking paths.
Please consider taking a walk or playing pickle ball in Memorial Park. Ralph V. Hill Memorial Pool looks amazing with a newly appointed aquatic staff bringing a new energy to pool operations. The summer camp is at full capacity with lots of exciting activities. We are introducing a new special event this August called Karaoke Under the Stars! And of course, the return of fun, family friendly events throughout the year like Touch a Truck, 2nd Annual Food Truck Feast, Trunk or Treat and our Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt in December.
As a reminder, residents can set up an account for programs, attain permits for field usage, and get program information through our online software program called CivicRec.
Information and program updates can be found on our website at www.CityOfEuclid. com/recreation, follow us on Facebook at Facebook.com/cityofeuclidrecreation and please remember we are always available by phone at 216.289.8114.
We look forward to serving you and your family!!
Kindly,
Mac Stephens Mac Stephens Recreation Director

The Euclid Recreation Department offers Panthers and Vikings teams, each team consisting of a 25-player roster. Games are held on Sundays and practices are held each weekday. The North Coast League covers neighborhoods from Cleveland to Canton offering most athletes their first opportunity to play a travel style league.
Our football programs are designed to do more than teach kids how to play the game. We instill a sense of commitment and responsibility and help our players grow as people not just as players. Our players are often involved in community service projects, cleaning the field after games, and must maintain a 2.0-grade point average.
If you are interested in participating in the Euclid Recreation Department's Tackle Football program, as a player, coach, or official, please contact Mac Stephens at 216-289-8230.

Be
Briardale Greens

Opened in 1977, this golf course offers the classic tests of tree lined fairways, well bunkered targets and large, undulating greens — the true stars of the course design.
The course rewards the good shot and provides an enjoyable round of golf for players at every skill level. Briardale Greens was designed by Richard LaConte with a course rating of 69.2 and a slope of 117. The course also offers a full practice facility with a driving range where players may hit from natural grass or artificial turf mats, a chipping green and a practice putting green.
COMPLIMENTARY
RENTALS FOR BEGINNERS
we don't believe in letting a lack of clubs hold back beginners from playing. We are happy to provide a set of clubs for beginners to use with their paid round of golf!

Senior Programs

Senior citizens are often recognized for the numerous contributions they have made over the course of their lifetime. Many are retired and have been parents, grandparents and even great-grandparents. Getting older doesn’t mean they are done living or ready for the rocking chair.

Euclid Senior Programs is designed for senior citizens who want to be active and social. We offer a wide variety of classes, events, speakers, and happenings at the Lakefront Community Center. Please go online and view our monthly newsletter at www.cityofeuclid.com (click on city departments and seniors tabs). You will also find our monthly calendar. We offer arts and crafts, ballroom dance, Silver Sneakers fitness classes, and yoga. We have a hot lunch program, educational speakers, computer classes, pool tables, and so much more. Membership is only $10 per year.

Please consider joining us for activities, or to volunteer. You are wanted here, you are needed here, and you are welcome here. Come visit us at “That great place by the Lake.”
