PHASE 1 CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW HOLY FAMILY HOME IS COMPLETE!
In March of 2022, we held a groundbreaking celebration to mark the start of construction of our new Home and the launch of our Building to Serve in Love Campaign. Phase one of construction has been completed, and our residents and sisters have now moved into our new modernized and updated Healthcare Household and Convent, but more work needs to be done.
The Residents and Little Sisters of Holy Family Home are grateful for your generous support and assure you of our daily prayers for you and your loved ones.

COUNTING ON YOUR HELP
We have secured more than $35 million in pledges, commitments, and loans despite fundraising challenges during a pandemic, but that isn’t enough. We must now urgently raise $10 million more to keep up with our ongoing construction costs for phases two and three, including renovations to the existing building for the independent living apartments, community spaces, and a pristine new chapel.

BUILDING OUR FUTURE
The long-term sustainability of Holy Family Home depends on the success of this project, which will create a new operating model for the Home that reduces our expenses and makes our operations more efficient. The project will enhance the Home’s aging-in-place model, allowing residents to remain in their familiar family setting as long as possible, with increased support brought to them as needed.

Please help us ready our Home for its next 150 years of caring for our elderly poor—as family, in God’s Loving Presence. As we continue to embrace the future of our new Holy Family Home, we give thanks to all our cherished benefactors, without whom this would not be possible.

WHERE RESPECT AND LOVE MAKE HOME
The Little Sisters of the Poor is an International Congregation of Roman Catholic Religious Women founded in 1839 by Saint Jeanne Jugan in Brittany, France, to care for and serve the elderly poor as they are Christ Himself. At Holy Family Home, we prioritize serving the most vulnerable members of our community. Continuing the mission of Saint Jeanne Jugan, we offer the neediest elderly of every race and religion a home where they will be welcomed as Christ, cared for as family, and accompanied with dignity until God calls them to Himself.
The Building to Serve in Love Campaign is powered by The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia, an independent, nonprofit community foundation. All gifts to the campaign are restricted solely for the use of the Little Sisters of the Poor-Holy Family Home and this rebuild project and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
