WELCOME TO OUR SPRING & SUMMER SEASON 2023

Welcome to the Carnegie’s Spring/Summer brochure 2023. Having recently joined this vibrant venue as General Manager, I’m incredibly excited to share what we’re bringing to you over the next few months. There truly is something for everyone.

We’re kicking off with a range of brand new cinema screenings of live events from around the world, including top-quality plays from the National Theatre and unique music events from big names. Alongside this, you can expect our usual vibrant programme of live performances, including hilarious stand-up comedy, foot-tapping musical theatre, and exciting tribute acts.

There’s plenty to get the kids involved too, with educational shows like Curious Investigators and magical adventures like Opera North’s Mini Vixen. At the Carnegie, we want to help encourage a love of theatre from early on, so we’re delighted to be welcoming these family-friendly performances.

There’s much more happening across the venue too, and our growing team is working hard to make the Carnegie a bigger and better community hub than ever before. Why not find out more about our music centre (for adults and children), weekly winter warm hub, and regular community groups? Keep an eye on our social pages or pop in to learn more.

Finally, I have to mention our popular cafe. Open daily, it offers lunches, light bites, pre-show dining, and - new from January 2023 - Sunday lunches. It’s dog-friendly and family-friendly, offers takeaways, and is also available for private bookings. You can even pop into our bar next door for a tipple at selected times!

At its heart, the Carnegie is your venue, and we look forward to welcoming you over the coming months.
