The Cape Collection events are held at The Peninsula, a stunningly renovated 1854 historic Mansion and Carriage House, reminiscent of a French country chateau, set on 2.5 beautiful acres in the heart of Cape May Court House, with catering provided by our on-site restaurant, Provence. With a modernapproach to classic, French Bistronomy, Provence redefines upscale dining on the Cape May Peninsula. Wedding Receptions and Events at The Peninsula can be held indoors, or outdoors on our beautifully landscaped grounds, and can be tented for inclement weather. A French country inspired heated swimming pool is also on the grounds and can be incorporated into any event.

We can accommodate you and your guests at any of our 5 locations on the Cape May Peninsula. The Cape Collection has over 60 luxuriously appointed rooms to choose from with special pricing when combined with on-site events.

The Cape Collection offers a choice of a 3 Course Seated Dinner with or without a Cocktail Hour (Goldor Silver) or a Cocktail Reception (Goldor Silver) .

A 20% Service Fee (in lieu of Gratuity) will be added to the total price for ancillary services, (including, but not limited to, the set-up and break-down of rental equipment, furniture, specialty décor, linens, glassware, dinnerware, cutlery, and any other items brought in (whether rented or by the client) related to executing the event.

We provide up to 5 hours ofmanagement and coordination of your event free of charge. For any additional Wedding Planning Services, including but not limited to, floral arrangements, music, lighting, photography, videography, favors, invitations, are available upon request through Designs by Daisy

Guest Minimums, Indoor & Outdoors Guest Maximums

There is a Guest Minimum during the Peak Season, May 1st through September 30th of 35 guests. In the OffPeak Season from October 1st through April 30th, there is a guest minimum of 25 guests

The venue is closed from January 1st through March 30th.

Children are not included in the total guest count to satisfy the minimum.

The Carriage House –Indoor Venue

The Carriage House can seat 50 guests with no dance floor and 40 guests with a 12’ x 12’ dance floor For a Cocktail Reception, The Carriage House can hold a maximum of 65 guests.

Outdoor Garden Wedding

The stunning grounds are the perfect option for Weddings with more than 48 guests and up to a maximum 120 guests. All Outdoor events require a tent rental. Tent pricing will be based on tent size and type, and will be selected at the time of book

Accommodation

Accommodations at The Peninsula are available for up to 26 guests Pricing depends largely on the day and time of year. An actual estimate will be generated upon date selection.

All rooms in the Main House have private bathrooms and most have fireplaces

All Wedding/Reception Events include a free 1 night stay for the bridal couple at The Peninsula in the Cassis Bridal Suite

If requested we would be happy to put a hold on all 10 rooms at the Peninsula at a 10% discount for your guests A 10% discount is also available at our other Cape May properties

After the hold is released, your guests are able to book the rooms at their regular rates, however as we are a small Boutique Hotel, availability cannot be guaranteed
