Instant Welfare Inflatable Habitats Equipment Overview Byrne’s inflatable habitats offer 100% UV protection to personnel, they are unique and innovative structures that have been developed as a means of providing an instant safe environment and cost effective protection when working in harsh outdoor conditions. The range of inflatable habitats provide excellent encapsulation, protect personnel and equipment, especially where exposure to high temperatures and UV sunlight is concerned. The appeal of the design is that the entire structure of the habitat is made of fabric and is easily movable. This means that compared to a semi-rigid framed structure it is virtually impossible to damage whatever the habitat is being used to encapsulate. The habitat works using a fan that blows air through a series of interconnected fabric tubes. The tubes, which are pressurised to a level slightly higher than ambient pressure, form the framework. All habitats are easily transported and can be inflated by two persons in less than five minutes.
