GAMECHANGER

congratulations

Daniel Graham - OnBrand Group Ltd

Daniel, MD of OnBrand, is a real gamechanger in marketing services.

Working all the hours on both days and nights during lockdown and reworking the OnBrand full services message - specifically working with businesses large and small to help them make it through the pandemic.

From one way systems in shopping centres, to temperature controlled entry platforms for sports grounds, to overnight website offerings for retailers with only a high street presence. Daniel led the team through customer comms crisis proposals into performance-based marketing services that have resulted in real business growth.

A very positive result from the negative impact of Covid. Well done, Daniel!

David Worcester - The Lower Red Lion

As with many businesses, David and The Lower Red Lion pub on Fishpool Street were hit hard by the pandemic.

Never one to sit on his laurels, David embraced the situation, rolled up his sleeves and cracked on with renovations, preparations and being able to adapt to whatever was thrown at him. I’m not sure how many times he could reinterate the Governments rules as I think “no, you can’t move to another table, and no, you can’t go to the bar” were sentences he should have had printed on to a t-shirt!

There’s always a friendly face, a warm welcome and a homely feel at the Lower Red - and we are all truly grateful for his resiliance, perseverance and fantastic customer service (as well as his beer)!

June and her team are simply amazing!

We’ve all heard about walking the walk, well these guys “Dance the Dance!”. They are brilliant at what they do and always do it with a smile, fun and a sneaky glass of Baileys. There is no bullshit and an honest approach is so refreshing. I’ve worked with them, as have many other local firms that I know. Everyone, and I mean every single person I know, eulogise about how amazing they are to work with and how much impact they’ve had on their business. Tracy Ross - Blissfully Organised

Organisation is her “thing” and I would never have thought that it would be something I would take much notice of. However, being organised brings with it, calm, thinking space, more time, and with that well-being!

It’s a chaotic world and Tracy not only brings order to her clients, but she reaches thousands of people with her daily tips, blogs, hints, tips and thoughts! Bitesize, easy to implement ideas, to really help people and businesses to cut to the chase and get started - even if it is how to declutter one draw at a time. Clu b BOARD

Peer2Peer are delighted to sponsor The WooHoo Awards. Being back in the room to celebrate the amazing resilience and effort of great St Albans business leaders is absolutely awesome. 2021 will be a year that evokes a lot of mixed emotions for many of us. Individuals, teams and businesses have all had to adapt at a level that most of us have never before experienced. There will undeniably have been many moments of huge uncertainty during the year. Undoubtedly there were times when stress levels soared and confidence levels nose-dived. It’s because of these moments, in particular, that we should acknowledge and recognise the tenacity, resilience and innovation that you have shown during 2021 in order for your business to survive, thrive and continue to deliver. We recently conducted a survey amongst our Peer2Peer Board members – CEOs and Business Leaders, just like you, from around the country. Over 85% of recipients reported year-on-year growth in their businesses despite the challenges of both Brexit and Covid-19. To be a constant source of inspiration and support to business owners, CEOs and leaders, Peer2Peer continuously evolves its powerful and practical Skill Building content which is accessible to all members. Being part of a Peer2Peer Board gives members more clarity, direction and unceasing inspiration. Peer2Peer itself exists and thrives because of talented, forward thinking CEOs and business leaders like you. We totally get the “power of peer” that’s what we love about the WooHoo Awards. Peers nominate Peers because they care and really treasure each other. No judges, no sponsor influence, no bias towards who’s got the biggest social networks. These have to be the purists awards out there. Every single person nominated is to be celebrated – pure and simple. Find out more about Peer2Peer Club here

Not only through her incredible talent of illustrations and design, but her true grit and determination even if she might not be feeling it! The pandemic caused, not only worries and fears, but also incredible isolation! Hannah pushed on through, connecting with other people online, chatting about ideas of how to improve things and motivating each other. Hannah is on the St Albans Market come rain or shine - using social media to show us her very beautiful wares - and being a constant promoter for St Albans with her bespoke calendars, mugs, tea towels and magnets. Richard Marrett - St Michaels Manor

Throughout the ups and downs of the pandemic, the hospitality industry faced incredible challenges!

Richard has faced each challenge with determination, posivitiy and resilience! He has made the most of every opportunity (including building various constructions on the front lawn) to ensure continued delivery of the fantastic service that he and St Michaels Manor are renown for.

Ongoing staffing shortages continue to present challenges, but, despite running around like a headless chicken doing 5 peoples jobs at once and still smiling (most of the time), he is still making time to support the community and local charities. Richard is very deserving of this award - he is a legend!
