USING THE ONLINE PLAN ROOM ACCESSING THE ONLINE PLAN ROOM www.bxava.com

You can access the Online Plan Room 2 ways: Clicking on the Plan Room on the top bar option or the Online Plan Room button will take you to the login page. These options are highlighted by the arrows.

USING THE ONLINE PLAN ROOM LOGIN PAGE You are now at the login page

If you need your login information, contact us at (804)353-2788 membership@bxava.com. Your membership with The Builders’ Exchange has no limits to the numbers of users on your account.

Contact us to add a user to your account.

Enter your information and hit submit. Once you have logged in successful you will be at the following page.

From this page you can access the projects, low bid / award, watch list, update summary, etc.

USING THE ONLINE PLAN ROOM PROJECTS

Click on PROJECTS this will take you to the following page:

You are now at the projects page. From here you can search projects and access the project information.

To access the projects - click on the projects.

USING THE ONLINE PLAN ROOM The projects are automatically in bid date order.

Clicking on the headers of the project sections will sort the projects by bid date, title, project number or city.

We have added a new feature of searching the projects.

You can now search the projects.

The CSI and Trade Code words currently come from the Table of Contents in the projects.

We are working to expand this search feature.

We are excited about this new service and welcome feedback from you as you use the program.

USING THE ONLINE PLAN ROOM VIEWING PROJECT DOCUMENTS

Once you select the project and click on it, you will be at the project detail page.

You are now at the project detail page. From here you can view the project details. The left blue box contains the drawing, specs, addenda, project documents. The numbers next to the Drawing index and Spec Index tell you how many drawings and spec sections the project contains.

USING THE ONLINE PLAN ROOM DRAWING INDEX The drawings index will appear when you click on the drawing index.

Clicking on the titles will open the drawing in PDF.

The drawing will open in a pdf.

USING THE ONLINE PLAN ROOM SPECIFICATIONS INDEX Clicking on the spec sections will bring up the spec sections.

When you click on a spec section it will open up in a pdf.

ADDENDA INDEX The addenda index works the same way the drawings and spec sections.

USING THE ONLINE PLAN ROOM BIDDERS LISTS Clicking on the bidders list will open the following screen.

When you click on the company you will open a window with the companies name and contact information.

CSI CODING Clicking on the CSI Coding brings up the list of trade codes that the project contains.

COMPANIES This option brings up the Owner, Construction Manager, Architect, and Engineer.

USING THE ONLINE PLAN ROOM PRINT PROJECT DETAIL This brings up the pdf of the project and you can save this information for your records or print the project information out.

LOW BIDDERS The low bids are updated weekly. Click the company name to view their contact information.

Click the project name to view the project details.

AWARDS Click the company name to view their contact information. Click the project name to view the project details.

WATCH LIST The watch list gives you the ability to put projects you are bidding or interested in.

You can add a project click on the + Sign on the project list page.

This is an example of a watch list. The watch list is not only your projects but everyone in your company’s watch list. The projects stay in the watch list page until you delete it.

To remove it selects the option to remove it.

UPDATE SUMMARY The update summary option matches the Daily email sent to you every afternoon. These are all new, updated, changed projects received at the Builders; Exchange that day.

If you do not currently receive the DAILY UPDATE SUMMARY contact us at 804-353-2788 or membership@bxava.com to add your email.

BULLETIN The weekly Construction News Publication is published weekly. This publication is emailed to you every Thursday afternoon and is also available in the BULLETIN tab.

Our membership list is available online. You can search by Company Name, keyword or trade.

We searched builders to find The Builders’ Exchange Association of Virginia.
