‘‘This resulted in the sub-contractor gaining an understanding of not just the drawings, but of the architect’s design intent and the overall outcome envisaged’’ Commitment to quality The client and the architect required very high standards in terms of project delivery and quality was non-negotiable for both of them. ADCO’s focus in achieving this was to ensure a commitment to quality from the outset in order to ensure no impact on program delivery dates. Due to the program being of only 20 weeks duration, it was essential to complete early procurement.
