Bright and Beautiful Wedding

Fun Maleny Wedding

When young lovers turn their summer romance into forever, it’s a beautiful thing, and most certainly calls for a festive countryside wedding on an exclusive private property, complete with daisy chains and a cosy tipi by an open fire. THE DREAMY YOUTHFUL BRIDE NEEDS LITTLE EMBELLISHMENT. Just a simple enhancement of features with soft eyes and a lick of shine on her perfect pout. Brooke’s long tresses feature an angelic double halo of braids.

Jackson is debonair in his navy three-piece suit with cheeky bow tie, styled by Suits Direct.

THE SUNSHINE COAST’S LEADING SUIT RETAIL & HIRE SPECIALISTS Extensive range of menswear from classic cuts and vintage suits through to the latest European design. Shop 3, 137 Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba (07) 5444 0204 | |

A RUSTIC SIMPLISTIC GARDEN CEREMONY Earthy, rustic terracotta urns and vessels for floral arrangements up the garden aisle.

OUR FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS were created using a unique gathering of yellows, greens and whites using marigolds, daisies, zinnias, variegated foliage, spider plants and olive leaves.

TABLESCAPE SCATTERED WITH A FLOWERING OVERFLOW in rustic terracotta pots, offset by the shiny glassware, and bringing light and love – pillar candles. “Elianah” is an alluring bold design for classic bride with an edge. The delicate lace corseted bodice meets a waist banner before cascading into a frothy tulle gathered layered skirt.

WAGON WHEEL CHANDELIER ADORNED WITH HANGING GREENERY and daisies giving a wildflower field feeling, bringing the outdoors in. Personalised jars of love to say merci, mes amis.

Our cake sports daisies handmade from sugar icing and copper detailing.

Fresh and full of flavour – an Australian summer wedding wouldn’t be quite right without seafood delicacies.

Inside the barn, our young lovers celebrate with photo booth fun. Each corner brings weathered textures of impeccably flawed character.

Tucked away in the Sunshine Coast countryside, Yabbaloumba Retreat offers a plethora of natural and undisturbed inspiration. Rolling hills with grazing cattle and serene dams add to the country charm. To enquire about this private property, contact L&L Co. Events.

“Chanel” features a sequined drop waist bodice with scoop neckline and tiered tulle skirt for extra frivolous fun. All gowns from Her’s Bridal.

“We did a first look before our ceremony and it was my absolute favourite part of the day. Hayden had never worn a suit before and he knew nothing about my dress, so it was really exciting for both of us. We knew it was going to be an emotional moment and wanted to have that just for us. 45

The outdoor ceremony setting is anchored by a stunning statement macramĂŠ arch, complemented by natural bentwood chairs and surrounded by lush emerald leaves.

The reception setting continues the tropical theme, with Nautilus and Clam shells punctuating the selection of succulent greens, pineapples, bananas and coconuts atop a raw hardwood trestle table.

A tablescape with all the right special touches; a gentle fragrance from scented candles and handmade soap bombonnieres, and low-hanging ferns enhance the intimacy of the dining setting.

“When we chose to have our wedding on a Sunday, Mats said let's make it a casual affair like a Sunday Sesh. He said we could call it a Sunday Wesh. I loved that idea and that just stuck!

Making your event uniquely yours

“We make a good team and we both have similar goals and family values. Mats cooks, I clean. He loses things, I find them. He exercises, I cheer him on. We love hanging out together and supporting each other. Mats has helped me reach my goal of becoming a pilot, probably because he knew one day he could reap the benefits of staff travel!"

“The band was our biggest cost aside from the venue. You've got to have a band if you have a barn! They created a very vibrant atmosphere, and with all the lighting and hay on the ground, it was a proper hoedown.
