The Brehon is ideally suited to host your Civil Weddings, Civil Partnerships & Humanist Ceremonies and has full HSE approval to host civil ceremonies.
The Brehon Suite pictured is perfect for your ceremony and can cater for up to 220 guests.
All ceremonies are tailored to your requirements and include the following:

We couldn't fault the Brehon Everything from the planning stages to the actual day and after was perfect Nothing was too much trouble and they added to the craic on the day. Would do it 100 times over and always with these guys, they're fab!

The Brehon Wedding Team are quite simply superb. They are dedicated to making your special day a reality. Nothing was too much trouble, they offered excellent advice and suggestions and the attention to detail was so evident The food on the day was nothing short of delicious and was complimented by several guests The Brehon really did us proud. Our only disappointment is its over and we won't see them as much!

My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at The Brehon. They are so good at what they do - I didn't feel like I had to worry about anything on the day, as they had it all taken care of They were fantastic through the planning stages, right through to our wedding day. The food was superb and our guests were raving about how the food was delicious and it was the best wedding they were ever at. We had our pre-wedding dinner and day two celebrations at The Brehon. We had a fantastic time and we couldn't fault a thing The professionalism is second to none. We highly recommend The Brehon as a wedding venue.

Once you have chosen a date, we can hold this as a provisional booking for 7 days without obligation To secure the date, a deposit of €2,000 is required We release provisional bookings after 7 days without notification. A further €2,000 is required six months prior to your wedding date. 80% of the wedding bill is to be paid 14 days prior to the wedding date. The remaining 20% of the bill can be paid before departure from the hotel.
The final numbers must be confirmed one month prior. This is the number that will be charged on the day. In the event of an increase of numbers the excess will be charged, provided we have the space to cater for this Minimum numbers as agreed with hotel at time of booking will apply
Full details of function (menu, drinks, wine etc.) should be completed one month in advance.
The happy couple must provide their table plan. The table plans will be accepted no later than 5 business days prior to the wedding date.
Notification of cancellation must be in writing; all deposits will be forfeited in full unless the facilities are resold. In the event of cancellation every effort will be made to re-let the room
Payment must be made before departure from the hotel in cash, credit card or bank draft unless otherwise agreed by the hotel.

Weddings must be seated no later than 5.30pm so the hotel can concentrate all our resources on ensuring that your meal is of the highest quality.
We do not facilitate alcoholic wedding favours.
Our Banqueting Suite can cater for no more than 220 people. Our Private Dining room can cater for 80 people.
The hotel accepts no responsibility for the booking of entertainment or other outside suppliers
Third party suppliers and additional enhancements must be approved by the hotel

LED Dance Floors are not permitted.
The residents' bar is a room charge bar; no cash transactions will be taken. The bar closing times are strictly adhered to.

Only food & beverages purchased on the premises may be consumed on the premises (with exception of wedding cake).
It is the Hotel Policy that the main lobby may not be used for drinks reception.
The Hotel will try whenever possible to assist with storage of equipment and wedding cakes. However, the Hotel accepts no liability for any damage or loss of this property.
All wedding items including decorations, flowers, props and wedding cake, etc, must be removed the day after the wedding We accept no responsibility for these items
A minimum of 15 bedrooms must be booked A discounted rate will be provided for your wedding guests
If you require bedroom rates before or after the wedding date, please contact Reservations.
Guests attending the wedding should quote the Couples surname when booking, to avail of the discounted rate; we will supply a booking code so that guests can secure the wedding rate online directly. Bedrooms not booked 4 weeks in advance of the wedding are released without obligation.
Should your guests not book all 15 rooms in the block, the balance of rooms will be charged to the couple.
The Couple will be financially liable for any rooms they book on behalf of their guests and the balance of any rooms should the 15 agreed not be reserved
We strongly advise the Couple not to get involved in booking accommodation for their guests as this makes the couple liable to the hotels cancellation policy.
