John, a native from County Kerry, and Liz, whom he met while living in the UK, embarked on a transformative journey together. After years of managing a business, raising their daughters, and navigating life’s challenges, John's longing for his homeland grew stronger. In 2013, they made the decision to return to John’s home in Ballyduff, Co. Kerry.
‘Íon’, the Irish word for pure, reflects their passion for their land and coastline. This treatment begins with a soothing back massage using Íon's organic ingredients and your therapist’s intentional focus. This full body massage uses gentle strokes for pure relaxation allowing tensions to melt away followed by a beautiful facial using a Gua Sha stone.

Enjoy a mini-facial with a detoxifying cleanse, a nourishing exfoliation and a Gua Sha massage to melt away tension. Finish off with an aloe and seaweed mask and hydrating rosehip cream for refreshed, glowing skin.

The adults only Vitality Suite offers a range of experiences designed to take your body on a journey through wet and dry, and warm and cold sensations. It includes a Herb Sauna, Crystal Steam Room, Ice Fountain, Tropical Shower, and a 12-metre Vitality Pool. These varied thermal experiences are perfect for soothing, relaxing, and detoxifying your body, especially before any spa treatments you have planned.
There's no set path to follow in the Vitality Suite. The goal is simply to help you unwind and detoxify. As you warm up, your pores open, which helps to accelerate the elimination of toxins from your body, leaving you feeling refreshed and revitalised.
