AACCESSIBILITY
We have one accessible apartment. The apartments include accessible parking, wider doors (812 mm), roll-in showers and two bedrooms which allow for accompanying carers.

BABYSITTING
Babysitting may be arranged by prior appointment with Reception by dialling “0”. Please allow at least 24 hours notice and we will be pleased to try and accommodate you. There is an hourly rate for this service, paid directly to the babysitter.

E-CHARGE
Located in the carpark adjacent to The Brehon is an e-Charging Unit for Electric Cars Payment at the charging unit applies. Available for use through the EC Charging App (Please download it from the AppStore or Google Playstore).
CHECK-OUT TIME
For the convenience of incoming guests, check-out time is 10am. We would appreciate it if you would return your keys and have your apartment vacated by this time. Please note: Should you fail to check out by 10am on the day of departure, the following fees will be automatically applied to your bill. First two hours after 10am€50 per hour, each hour thereafter €100 per hour. These fees are payable on departure.

On approaching the exit door, press the switch located on the right of the main door as you leave the building to open the door.

EMERGENCY FIRE PROCEDURES
For your safety may we offer the following suggestions:
PRECAUTIONS
Read the instructions on the back of your apartment door.
Investigate our safety features. Locate the nearest fire exit and know how to get to them under adverse circumstances.
Know how to open and unlock your door in the dark.
Do not carelessly toss lighted cigarettes or match sticks into bins.
ACTIONS IN CASE OF A FIRE
Stay Calm.
Notify the operator immediately.
Touch your guest room door. If hot do not open.
Fix a wet cloth over your nose and mouth. Keep yourself wet. If you leave your room proceed to the nearest fire exit.
Stay beneath any smoke by crawling if necessary.
DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS.
Go out of the building using the fire exits.
Close all doors behind you.
Go to the nearest fire assembly point.
Once you leave the building do not return to the building until you are given the all-clear by a member of the Fire Brigade.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE TO STAY IN YOUR APARTMENT
Fill the bathtub with water. Wet sheets and stuff them completely around the door. Block any vents that are emitting smoke.
Stay low if there is smoke in the room. Keep a wet cloth over your nose and mouth as a filter. If the doors and walls are hot, bail water on them with a container. Call the operator, give your apartment number and explain that you cannot leave your room. Stay calm.

Golfing enthusiasts staying at The Flesk River Apartments have the opportunity to play on many of Kerry’s fantastic golf courses. From historic links to manicured parklands, whatever one’s preference, nowhere will the golfer find such a high density of wonderful golf challenges. Reception will be delighted to assist you with further with information on golfing in the region

INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR
The Flesk River Apartments endeavour to ensure that all our patrons have the most enjoyable experience possible. Please note excessive noise, overcrowding causing damage to property, and aggressive or vulgar behaviour will not be tolerated on the premises. Management reserves the right to remove any persons from the premises without prior notice with no refunds.

The Aquila Club Leisure Complex is situated on the grounds of The Gleneagle Hotel. Guests of The Flesk River Apartments can use The Aquila Club Leisure Complex. Rates are payable at the Leisure Complex. €5 per child, €8 per adult, per visit.

LINEN
If you require extra pillows and/or blankets please call reception. Please note towels will only be replaced on the day of service. Guests are asked to return any towels taken from the Apartments for The Aquila Club Leisure Centre access or otherwise before departure.

Mail can be franked at Reception at the same cost as stamps. Should you expect mail to be preceded to your arrival please enquire at Reception.

All messages will be delivered to your apartment. If you have a voice/telephone messages on your phone they can be retrieved by dialling the message button and following the instructions.
NEWSPAPERS
We have replaced thousands of complimentary print newspapers distributed annually to guests with environmentally-friendly digital version. Flesk River Apartments have partnered with PressReader, a digital newspaper and magazine service, to make connecting to The Brehon’s, bars and restaurants free Wi-Fi even more edifying. This new partnership means guests now have access to more than 7,000 newspapers and magazines from over 120 countries in 60 languages. Download the “PressReader” app ahead of your stay on your devices app store & simply connect to the hotel WiFi on arrival to unlock access to PressReader’s entire catalog.
PPARKING
There is parking available outside the apartment buildings or alternatively, the main car park which is located between The Brehon and The Gleneagle Hotel. Parking is at the owners risk. We recommend that you do not leave valuables in your car
PHARMACIST
The closest pharmacist is located in Killarney Town Centre. Prescriptions can be filled during the hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. A late-night pharmacy is located on Park Road, which is open until 9 pm.

SECURITY
Should you be exposed to conduct that you deem to be disorderly and which detracts from your comfort and safety whilst staying at The Flesk River Apartments, please do not hesitate to contact a member of staff (dial “0”), who will endeavour to rectify the situation immediately.
SMOKING
Public Health Tobacco acts 2002 and 2004
As of March 9th, 2004, it is the policy of The Flesk River Apartments, in accordance with legislation, that all its workplaces are smoke-free and that all employees have the right to work in a smoke-free environment.
Smoking is prohibited throughout The Flesk River Apartments. Any person found guilty of an offence under section 47 – smoking prohibition – is liable to fines of up to €300.
Under this policy, staff are obliged to refuse services to a customer who insists on smoking and may ultimately request a customer to vacate the premises.
Any persons found to be smoking will automatically incur a €200 cleaning charge on their bill.
