So many people are doing brilliantly engaging with Steplab - well done to everyone using the system to support their ECT.

Please remember that it is imperative that all coaching sessions and self-study is logged on Steplab - this is the only recording you need to do.

NPQs

All new year NPQs have begun and the participants have all had their welcome conferences. Everyone is progressing with their learning.

We ran an additional NPQSEND conference last week.

NPQs Impact Case Studies

We now have lots of insights data into the impact of NPQs on individual participants, on schools and on pupils, but this is mostly via case studies For example, we know around 20 NPQH participants have already secured a Headship and we think the number may be higher when we survey all of our alumni. However, if you have anyone in your school who would like to be part of a short case study about how their NPQ journey has impacted on them, their school and most importantly, their pupils, please get in touch with: craig.lilleyman@londondistrciteast. org

Reminders for all of those currently participating on NPQS:

Ensure you get into a routine of completing modules weekly, as the programmes are designed.

Try to meet with your buddy to discuss the apply modules – we find this useful to consolidate and embed learning. Any issues with buddy pairs, please let us know asap Remember you have to complete 90% of the programme on Steplab to be entered for the assessment (Even if you complete 89 99% of the programme, the system will not enter you and there is nothing LDE can do about it!)

But with the assessments you do get a second chance, so all is not lost! If you have any issues or feedback about any NPQs, please email:

org

(FYI Hub several Hub staff are on NPQs, so we know exactly how it feels!)
