Dulce Candles: My name is Saniyah Thompson. I am 18 years old. I started Dulce Candles in August 2021. I started Dulce Candles because I was tired of working for people and wanted to do my own thing that I enjoyed doing. I love candles and smell goods, but I didn’t want to do your regular basic candles you can buy in a store, I wanted to do something different that nobody really sees. I saw the dessert ones and, fell in love, decided that’s what I wanted my candles to look like. That’s how Dulce Candles began and has been flourishing since then.

Bodiedbylai: Hi my name is Laila and I am a 14-year-old entrepreneur! After years of struggling with eczema, I realized that the products I used on my skin were full of synthetic ingredients that only made my eczema worse. I knew it was time for me to do something for myself to help me with my skin issue. Everyday after online school I started researching ingredients and putting them together until I found a combination that worked for my skin, since then I’ve seen a huge difference in my skin! My goal is to help other young ladies like myself find self-love starting with the skin they are in!!

M&M Boutique: I'm Maisah Muhammad. I am a 16-year old high school junior. I started M&M Boutique in 2021. I have always had a passion to start a clothing line. With college in the near future, I decided to get a head start on the path to financial success. M&M Boutique is a way for me to express myself through my products. As a young woman of the African Diaspora, I believe representation truly matters. It is my goal and responsibility to ensure that young girls and boys like me feel inspired and motivated. In addition to being an entrepreneur, I'm a dancer and violinist. I am a member of the Burlington County Chapter of Jack & Jill of America Inc., currently serving as the Teen President. I'm also a member of the NAACP Camden County East Youth Council, serving as the 2nd Vice President and a board member of BRadiant Foundation Inc.

Riot: My name is Ziare Boles, and I’m 11 years old. I just started my brand Riot in September, which is luxury streetwear and accessories. Darbs By Design: My name is Kayla Darby and I am 22 years old. Darbs By Design LLC, formally Darbs Designs, was initially started in 2020 during the Pandemic and was inspired by the protests that occurred that year. It started out as a business selling reusable face masks and art depicting how I felt about the world and my community. Darbs By Design LLC has now grown to include jewelry and clothing featuring the aforementioned art! All the art, jewelry, and face masks are handmade original pieces. My goal as an artist is to help you feel good, look good, and uplift your spirits. Almost everything I sell is an artistic extension of myself, and I can't wait to share it with you!

Kid Boss: My name is Cameron Avery Roberts, aka "Kid Boss". When most people think of a boss, they think of adults, but to me, kids can be bosses too! I like to do my own thing, and I know what I want and like. I am the content creator for my YouTube Channel KingKidbossCamTV. I started designing when I was five years old, and I have turned my designs into wearables. I've always wanted to do something to help the homeless. I believe that everyone deserves a home, especially kids. I give a portion of ALL of my sales to organizations that help the homeless. One day I hope to build housing to help the homeless.

Stories of a Colorful World: Stories of a Colorful World (SOCW), is a Black-owned online children’s bookstore, co-founded by Kanika Mobley and Vanessa Mitchell. We understand that every child deserves to see themselves in the books they read. We are committed to carrying books that feature diverse representations of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) main characters, authors, and stories. We want children to grow up embracing their bold, brilliant and beautiful selves, so we believe they should be surrounded by stories as colorful as the world they live in.

Nylah’s Beauty Line: My name is Nylah Corbett, owner of Nylah’s Beauty Line, and I am 13 years old. I started my business in 2020 when I became interested in beauty. My most popular item was soaps, so I chose to go in this direction in business as my main product for my customers. When I am not running my business, I enjoy playing tennis, cheering, and reading. I plan to continue growing my business and encourage others while doing so.

LB’s Bracelets: My name is Londyn Banks and I am eight years old. I love to make bracelets because I enjoy being creative and making cool designs from a variety of colors. I also enjoy dressing up with accessories. I started making bracelets for family members this year using a combination of colorful rubber bands as well as beads. My family continues to encourage me to explore my talent so that I may one day open my own business and sell bracelets, chokers, and anklets. When bracelets are purchased I plan to donate a portion of the proceeds to the American Heart Association in remembrance of my G-Pop (Garneth E. Jones).

Cocoa Puzzles: To add diversity to the puzzle industry, by creating illustrations that children of color and even other minorities can identify with. We hope to inspire children to reach for their goals and aspirations bravely, to be bold, to be assertive, to be kind, to be courageous, and most importantly to love themselves and others.
