communities and mosques are protected and reassured at all times. Safeguarding training has been delivered to all madressas. This was a wonderful achievement. Thanks to Saeed Bhai for helping to organise these, alongside Education Officer Jacquie Parkinson and the LADO Paula Williams from Bolton Council. Also I would like to thank all Masjid/Madressa Committees for authorising this in the first place. The law governing establishments working with children places a significant responsibility on them to protect and safeguard children. We also have a religious duty and therefore must ensure that our Madrasahs are safe for all children in our care. We are indebted to all our volunteers on the Health Forum, Halal Forum, Madressa Forum, and Funeral Committee. If you have any ideas do not hesitate to contact the relevant officers who would be more than happy to assist – Youth Work (Khalid Kadva or Fozia Yasmeen/Aminah Atcha), Mosque/Madressa (Saeed Malji), Counselling (Riana Abbas or Ml Yunus Mohamed or Khadija Wadee). Ring the Office Admin who will be more than happy to help.
