CADET COACHING STAFF 2020-2021 CHARLIE JUNG Fullbacks / Equipment Specialist Coach Charlie Jung graduated from Savannah High School and went on to attend both Georgia State University and Savannah State University. While attending college he worked for Savannah Fire and played Semi Pro football with the Savannah Indians. Before coming to BC, he coached at Windsor Forest High School for nine years and at Bryan County High School for 2 years. He coached the Dawgs football team for 2 years and coached at St. James Catholic for 4 years. He began coaching at Benedictine Military School in 2006 with the enrollment of his son, Zachary Jung, class of 2010. Coach Jung is starting his 13th year at BC.
HENRY MEYERS III Strength Coach Coach Henry Meyers, III graduated from Herschel V. Jenkins High School. He is a Senior International Weightlifting Coach and has coached at the World Championship. He has coached numerous National Champions (Junior and Senior) and has coached four Olympians. He began coaching at Benedictine Military School in 2011. Coach Meyers is married to Michelle Meyers and father to Henry Meyers, IV.
TONY ORSINI Outside Linebackers / Head JV Coach Coach Orsini is the youngest of the five children of Sebastian “Poppa” Orsini’34, he attended high school in Aiken, South Carolina, at Saint Angela Academy. After high school, he continued his education at Newberry College where he earned an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and then attended Georgia Southern College to pursue his Master’s degree in Education Leadership. This will start his 19th year at BC. He is married to his college sweetheart, the former Susan Morris, and they have 3 kids, Donald, David and Carmela. They also have 5 grandchildren and enjoy spoiling these grandkids at their Tybee home. Tony’s daughter, Carmela, may be the only girl that lettered at BC in something other than cheerleading. While at St. Vincent’s she was the equipment manager for the football team and the head coach at the time, Tom Brackett, awarded her a football manager’s letter for the work and effort she put into her position.
