The Bascom’s annual gala fundraiser will be held this year on June 24th on the beautiful campus of The Bascom. One of the ways that you can contribute is through the donation of items to our silent auction, held on site during the event In addition to contributing revenue to support our programs, your gift will add to the festive and unique experience for attendees. Instructions for the Silent Auction Winner (including how the item should be redeemed):
Fair market value as determined by the Donor (dollar amount):
The IRS defines fair market value as “the price a willing, knowledgeable buyer would pay a willing, knowledgeable seller when neither has to buy or sell.”
Appraised Value: If the value of the donation is $5,000 00 or more, a written appraisal from an indpendent professional is required by the IRS in order for donor to substantiate tax deductions. Attach a copy of the appraisal.
We will establish minimum bids and buy out prices for all auction items based on the fair market value you list here In the case that your donation does not meet the minimum bid, we will return your item or inquire as to whether we may use it in a future auction or sale.
All items must be received by June 1, 2025, to be included in the silent auction.
