A funny and brutal look at consent filled with poetry, puppets, and PowerPoint presentations! Sometimes hilarious, sometimes heart-breaking, MANIC is a solo show that combines spoken word, puppetry, and theatre to ask whether it is possible to say you were violated without implicating a partner.

Join Phil in his journey as he recreates his favourite beer ads, the 1968 Rugby League Challenge Cup final, under-16s disco night at the Mecca ballroom, Wakefield, and his mum and dad’s silver-wedding party. This show is about the places we grow up in and the traces they may or may not leave; finding, losing and re-discovering roots.

Just when you thought Christmas couldn’t get any camper, Yorkshire’s very own Glitterbomb Dancers are back in Sheffield to unveil their second remake of a holiday classic. And this time they are messing with that Dickensian staple: A Christmas Carol. An 80s Christmas party. A boss named Carol who thinks the season has gotten too silly. And the Cher’s of Christmas Past, Present and Future, who teach her just how fun and outrageous the holidays can be. Full of surprises and told through The Glitterbomb Dancers signature high energy dance, sugar high pop, drag and comedy. You will never watch a Christmas Carol the same again! Best enjoyed with a drink and a good laugh.

A daytime adult comedy club for parents with babies under 12 months, hosted by local legend Daniel Inniss and a hand-selection of Yorkshire’s best comedians. Parents, this is comedy for you, set in a safe space where you can relax with your little one.
DEMENTIA FRIENDLY CINEMA
Date: Second Monday of each month from 12.30pm - 2.30pm.
Dementia-friendly cinema screenings of classic, feel-good films including Singin’ in the Rain (11th September), Mama Mia (9th October), Top Hat (13th November) and The Wizard of Oz (11th December). Tickets are £4 including tea and biscuits.

BLOOD ON THE CLOCKTOWER
