The Society and the Holocaust Center of Northern California commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, accompanied by a showing of the Society's traveling exhibition and featuring Szyk's painting, "Samson in the Ghetto" (1945). Reproduced plates from "Ink & Blood: A Book of Drawings" (The Heritage Press, 1946). An article on Szyk's 1942 image "Tears of Rage," which featured prominently in Bergson Group literature and on the program cover for "We Will Never Die," a 1943 pageant authored by Ben Hecht and meant to raise awareness about the Holocaust.
