Waiting before the silent crowd with their Blank faces staring straight with piercing eyes That strike victims with pointed spear Without defense, they stand exposed as prey. A slip, a halt, or even extra breath Is not unseen by unremitting darts. The frozen statues lifeless as in death. The rush of silence intense with racing hearts.
