he Arc of Baltimore provides supports for nearly 70 people who are 65 years of age and older. In August, many of them attended a luncheon held in their honor as part of our 60th anniversary celebration. At 89 years young, Evelyn Peters, pictured above, was the oldest attendee. Each person received a certificate recognizing their longevity and enjoyed a great meal, music from their era and some sing-a-long fun. Awards were presented for artistry, recycling, musicianship and even “partying.” A Family Support-sponsored summer picnic also was a huge success. Ditto for Bay Buddies, now in its ninth season, which gave 100 children opportunities to sail, swim, visit the Science Center and have tons of fun at Living Classrooms. The Arc’s staff and leaders are proud to provide programs and services for people of all ages! ■
