The inspiration behind Lang Viet Restaurant & Bar lies in the centuries-old traditional village or lang houses that reflect the unique cultures of Vietnam’s diverse ethnic groups. Simple and unimposing, these houses are dotted in small towns and villages along the coast and are mainly inhabited by rice farmers with paddy fields nearby. The heart of each traditional home is the kitchen, where families gather for meals at the end of the day.

Traditional rural villages have introduced many dishes that formed a significant part of the Vietnamese culinary ecosystem. Passed down through generations, these recipes are still celebrated today.
