OUR LOVE STORY In the Fall of 2017, at the US Small Business Administration, Disaster Assistance, the SBA team was standing up shop to save businesses and families during the hurricane season. It seemed as though the North Atlantic storms were coming rapid, but the SBA teams continued responding to the citizens in dire need. The SBA teams banded together with other agencies to bring hope, and to provide safety, and stability. This is where it all began, Delnisio and Dianne’s “Love Story.” I, Dianne, was an Administrative Support contractor not knowing that my strong, handsome, fun, and quiet Boaz was there waiting for me to come and brighten his day (smiles). I, Del, never imagined that my wonder-woman (laughter), my biblical “Ruth” who is fun-loving, adventurous and God-fearing would come in and glean in SBA fields – oh man, I thank God! As the story goes: Twice a day, Del delivered work, talked, and bothered me, and always brought extra work to my desk. Some would say, “Where’s Del?” and Don P. stated, “He’s down there flirting with the new girl.” My neighbor, Mary-Lou, said “That guy likes you.” I replied, “no, he doesn’t. I’m already in a committed relationship.” She said, “dump him, because I believe Del will treat you better.” I tried to ignore Del, until one Friday, I left my desk, returned and realized later my phone had been taped with scotch-tape. A customer and I ended up saying hello back and forth, and then shouting. Once I hung up and said, “that Del “computer” better stay-away from my desk.” (Laughter) As time went on, a few of the SBA Teams were revamped and the teasing really began, because now I had to sit across from Del instead of down the hall. “Girl, you’re sitting across from your man.” I said, “He is not my man, and he doesn’t like me like that...” Del was also thinking the same about me. I know this story is getting a little lengthy, come on keep-up we’re almost through with the short version. (LOL). Okay, from there, the rest is history! Wait a minute - we cannot leave out his awesome and talented son, Delnisio, Jr. What fun when his high school football team played against my former high school, Washington Liberty (formerly known as Washington Lee). This brought back such wonderful memories, running track and of course Washington Liberty, we won! “LOOK AT US NOW: ONE GOD, ONE LOVE AND ONE FAMILY FOREVER! - MARRIED” - I CORINTHIANS 13:4-7

With your sincere openness, timid nature, and shy demeanor, I immediately felt a sense of protection towards you like a mother. In all the male friends of yours we discussed, none of them measured up as “the one” like Delnisio. I am thrilled that you settled with the man, as I see it, who absolutely loves you! DIANE CODY Dianne, you always called me “Sis” and you have been like a little sister to me. When I have to get up at 2 AM for work, you always seem to call me at 11 PM, why?.....(LOL) Just to talk, and then you would say “well I’ll let you go so you can get some rest”, and by that time it’s 1:30 AM and I’m up but big Sis is always here for you ....Just to talk no matter what time it is AM or PM. TINA HUNTER You are my type of girl, a shining star that always exudes JOY and HAPPINESS. Love your style because you are always dressed so elegant with a cute backpack LOL!!. My favorites visits are when you stand in front of my large body mirror and get your dance on to Mary J. Oh, and if I didn’t mention it, I want you to know I am so appreciative of your “YES”, agreeing to write the FORWARD for our upcoming book project, The Uncut Version Of ME. DION MURRIL BEST MAN Most people know you as DEL, I know you as my big bro Waynee. It’s because of you I have the life I live. I inspired to be just like you and do something with my life. So, thanks for being a big brother, a role model, and a mentor. Love you big bro! Congratulations.
LARNARDA BLACKMON Unfortunately, I cannot make claim of knowing you for as long as the other guys. However, because of who you are, I feel like I’ve been around just as long. Although you weren’t introduced as a fiance’, I was confident that you would be the right husband for Dianne. As time progressed, my thoughts were confirmed. Here are some qualities and characteristics I noticed: you showed attentiveness, responsibility, genuineness, humor, safety and consistency. If I saw all of that in the few times we were around one another, I can honestly say that you will have no problem fostering marital bliss between the two of you for a lifetime. I am proud to gain a brother through my sister (Dianne). Congratulations!!!
EDWARD COLEMAN Del, although we haven’t known each other very long, I am proud to have you marry someone that I consider my sister. I watched how patient and kind you were with her. You made her smile and laugh. I could see the positive attraction between you two. Thank you for letting me share in your special day.
JERMAINE MITCHELL Man, we’ve been through it all since the first day of boot camp. You were always there for me through thick and thin. You’re like the brother I wish I had. Can’t believe it’s going on 30 years of our brotherhood. We’ve pretty much been knowing each other since we were teenagers. We had some great times together. Let’s keep it tight like we always have. LAFFAIRA TAYLOR I first met Del in 2015 when he began his journey at the Small Business Administration. From the very moment I met Del it felted as if we had known each other all our lives. He was very jovial and quite the jokester. What I liked the most was that he was himself and has a strong belief in Christ and probably one of the humblest persons that I know. Del is a great person and even more, a great friend.

TRIBUTE TO LOUIS AND JEANETTE RAIFORD Mom and Dad, here I am on my wedding day reflecting on the years of love that you both showed towards each other and to our family. Your 53 years of marriage has filled my heart with a desire to share my life with the one sent from God. You nurtured me and always let me know that God loved me. He is proving it to me on this day. Your example to me has not been in vain, I am delighted to be the youngest of the family, because I was able to see how you poured your “endless” love into each of my brothers and sisters. Mom, I remembered while you were cooking dinner, Dad walked in with a smile on his face, I knew he was up to something, because he winked at me which indicated, “I am about to do something, so watch.” I had started laughing, before I could guess what he was about to do, and that was to show affection, by kissing you on your cheek, and of course you were humming a song.” You said, “Ted, I am trying to finish cooking dinner”, and we just laughed, because he loved messing with you. Dad and Mom, I wish you were here to see your baby girl getting married. Dad you would be crying “joyous tears” and Mom would be praying all the way, making me laugh, telling your great stories about being married to a builder, protector, provider, family man, prayer warrior, a man of integrity, a friend to everyone, and the list goes on and on. Mom, you were the rock of the family and you preached, encouraged, prayed, and spoke endless blessings over our lives. You were the Evangelist that tore down wrong and thank
you for placing order in the home. You taught me how to run to God and pray when things got tough, because He has all the answers. Mom, thank you for being the Proverb 31 wife, and mother which the family, even until today, call you blessed. It’s quite funny that I am not a “talker” like my other siblings (smiles), but I can talk for days by writing. So, if you had the opportunity of meeting Delnisio Murril – Dad, you would have a cut-up buddy and Mom, he would adore your wisdom, and definitely show-up for your great cooking and baking those sweet potato pies. And, I know you would confirm your approval of my Boaz – “Delnisio Murril.” I thank you for injecting me with a strong God-fearing foundation shown with unconditional love. You two “literally” gave me the universe and because of you, my LATTER days are RICHER and GREATER. Since you both left, my family has never missed a beat in being by my side. And, I must say, My REDEEMER – Jehovah Jireh, “my provider” is still making his mighty presence known, and I will continue to put Him first in my life, because God’s blessings are overtaking me and manifesting every day. Thank God, I waited on the right one and the blessings you spoke over my life are continually manifesting. Oh, Dad & Mom – my last name is changing to “Murril” (happy tears) Love Dianne
