Dear constituents of Beaches East York and visitors to Toronto,
July 6 – 30, 2023
A MESSAGE FROM PREMIER DOUG FORD
I want to welcome everyone to the 35th Annual Beaches International Jazz Festival
Toronto is home to a lively music scene. Since the postwar period, the city has been a centre for jazz, attracting talented musicians and music club entrepreneurs. Jazz and its related musical forms have always been an integral part of the city’s music and cultural scene.
Thanks to the festival’s board of directors and committee of organizers for the time, energy and creativity they’ve invested in making this event possible. They have helped make this one of our most-anticipated festivals.
Our government is working to create jobs and drive local tourism by investing in festivals and events in communities across the province. Through this investment, our government is sending out a positive signal that Ontario is open for business, and is the best place to work, live and raise a family
Have a wonderful time at the festival and best wishes for many more years of success!
Doug Ford Premier
