On Wednesday 18th November, the Active Rutland Community Sports Awards 2015 were held at Greetham Valley Hotel, Golf and Conference Centre. 14 Awards were presented at this prestigious event which celebrated the efforts and achievements of individuals and the unsung heroes who help and inspire the community to take part and succeed in sport and physical activity.

Reflecting what’s going on the local sporting and leisure scene, with tips and advice on how to get involved and live a more fulfilling lifestyle, active magazine is part of the burgeoning trend for publishing at a local level, giving businesses in the area the chance to be involved and increase their customer base, while putting people in touch with their local clubs, companies and organisations, and giving them inspiration to get out and get going! Active has a team on board with experience of publishing on a national and international level, but vitally, all are Stamford and Rutland locals and active in the sport and leisure scene of the area.
