A Message from Sr. Michelle Dear Family, Every year the Rector Major, successor of St. John Bosco, gives the Salesian Family a ‘strenna’. The strenna is a theme that guides our worldwide family in the same direction. Salesian schools and youth centers are located in over 130 countries through the world. This year the theme is: Moved by Hope ‘See, I am making all things new” – Rev. 21:5 The Rector Major, Fr. Artime, recognizes how easy it is, in the midst of a pandemic and economic and political difficulties, to lose sight of our many blessings. He calls us to be people of hope because we know that the Lord is at work in all things. Our Lord is with us and through us, at work in the world. We are called to be people who spread hope to others, especially to the young. Let us continue to renew our hope through prayer, reflecting on Scripture, and supporting each other. Thank you for the encouragement you have given your daughters. Thank you for the understanding you have given the teachers as they navigate a whole new way of teaching. Thank you for the support you have given to me and the other administrators. Together we are strong and, with the help of the Lord, can face any challenge with hope and joy.
