The Lord’s Times and Seasons (Part 1) Elijha & Elisha... And when they had gone over, Elijah said to Elisha: “Ask what I shall do for you before I am taken from you”. And Elisha said: “I pray you; let a double portion of your spirit be upon me”. He said: “You have asked a hard thing. However, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you, but if not, it shall not be so”. As they still went on and talked, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire parted the two of them, and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. (2Ki 2:9-11) Ampl

A consistant walk with God...

Men have always

walked a path to find the will of God for their lives. They had to endure hardships and many trials in order for them to fulfill their destiny. They had to follow God’s voice and commandments in strick obedience so that they could receive that which was promised. The word of God says: “And Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God; and he was not, for God took him [home with Him]”. [Heb. 11:5.] (Gen 5:24) Ampl, even the writer of the book of

Hebrews said about Enoch: “Because of faith Enoch was caught up and transferred to heaven, so that he did not have a glimpse of death; and he was not found, because God had translated him. For even before he was taken to heaven, he received testimony [still on record] that he had pleased and been satisfactory to God. [Gen. 5:21-24.] 6 But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]. (Heb 11:5-6) Ampl
